After a glorious Saturday, Sunday couldn't have been much worse - It was wet, muddy and messy!

In his first appearance at the Badger Bite, Telford AC's Robin Sedman-Smith took control of thge race from the starting horn and edged himself in front of club team mate Greg Wilson. He managed to maintain this position throughout the race and won in 22:45 with Greg Wilson (V50) having to settle for 2nd place in 23:05 and Daniel Brazier of Wolves & Bilston in 3rd place in 23:32. Telford Harrier Jamie Anderson had an excellent run to finish a close 4th in 23:49.

For the Ladies, winner Tess Parkinson of Wolves & Bilston finshed in 27:08 with Telford AC's Nellie Sanders (V40) 2nd in 27:48 and Fiona Collisson (V40) in 3rd place in a time of 28:39. In the vets categories winners were Robin Guy (V40), Tony Marrs(V50), Jonathan Pierce (V60) and Ivan Follos (V70) and for the ladies Cheryl Evans (V40), Clare Bolitho (V50) and Tina Smith (V60).

In the Six Parishes Championship congratulations go to Becbury's Black Country Triathlete Chris Wood who won for the 3rd successive year in a time of 25:25 and finishing in 14th place overall.
