2014 was the final Badger Bite. The time and effort involved in organising the race means we have finally 'called time' on the event. We managed to put on 9 races over 12 years and in the process raised over £12,500 for a host of charities including Cancer Research UK, Macmillan, Air Ambulance, Help for Heroes, Alzheimer's Research, Compton Hospice and many, many more. But 'we' didn't raise that money, YOU did! Every runner who ever took part and everyone who helped along the way - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much!
I'd like to say 'we'll be back' and who knows? But in the meantime...our friends at Lawley Running Club are putting on The Beckbury Trail Race - Sun 20th November 11:00am. If you liked the Badger Bite - you're going to love this! Enter now at Run Britain
If you liked the Badger Bite, you'll love the Beckbury Trail. Organised by Lawley Running Club, it's a 5.6 mile trail race between Beckbury and neighbouring villages and taking in the now famous Badger Bite Hill.
